  5. Bishop Cantu,

We hope everything is going well with you in the land ‘down-under’. Having attended 4 WYDs, I know what is like to be immersed in such atmosphere of rejoicing and celebration of our young people’s faith and their love for the Holy Father and the Church. We hope everyone has an amazing time and is touched deeply by the Lord in whatever way He chooses. You are in our prayers and we look forward to seeing you on the 26th for the Fiesta of Life… God bless you!

  7. I was able to see a bit of the Mass on EWTN this evening. I heard Benedict’s address. It means staying up a bit later than usual but I was hoping to see a glimpse of someone I knew! What was most prominent were the American flags! Thanks for praying for us; we have you and all the youth in prayer as well.

  8. Today I saw a little bit of the Stations of the Cross as well, taking Jesus down from the cross and taking him by boat to his burial site. It was moving indeed. We don’t get coverage much on the regular TV stations nor the newspaper.
    Blessings,

  9. Your Lordship,

Pieter Roberts and Daniel Opie and myself had briefly met you while in Melbourne. We are from New Zealand and our leader and chaplain are from Opus Dei. I had recognised you in the Church store next to St. Francis in the City. My two friends were wanting a priest to bless there religious items and there you were. As you blessed the items I noticed a ring on your right hand, and only Bishops do that. You had entered the church and then as you were about to leave I followed you out and asked if you were a Priest or a Bishop, you replied the latter, then I paid you an obeisance and thanked you for the blessing.

What a blessing to have met with you! We look forward to another meeting.

    Sincerely,

Mr. Rima Tamaiparea-Puki FSSP (Soon to be)

  10. Bishop Cantu:

Good afternoon! Hope that you are doing well. Just wanted to tell you that we miss you at Holy Name. We continue to pray for you and hope that your new journey as Bishop continues to bring you many wonderful blessings. We plan to visit Daniel’s family in Colombia in early November and will be away for about 3 wks. Please keep us in your prayers. Daniel, Giselle and I will keep in touch. Can you believe Giselle will be 6 months!? She’s definitely growing quickly and is a beautiful blessing. We send you many hugs and blessings.

    God Bless,
    Diana, Daniel & Giselle Sicca
